Clip Review
What it is
A review queue for AI-found tactical lessons cut from match commentary. Reviewers watch each clip, tidy the title and one-sentence lesson if needed, and approve or reject. Approved clips publish to CroquetVideos as a tactical learning library.
Who it serves
Wade plus selected reviewers, with reviewer access granted per person.
How it works
Nobody watches full match broadcasts hunting for teachable moments. Detection sifts thousands of tactical moments automatically to find complete discussions, so a reviewer's job shrinks to a watch and a verdict. An AI soundness check pre-screens whether the advice is actually good croquet, since commentary can be confidently wrong.

How it hits the ideals and aims
Develop skilled play, from material that already exists. Keep it simple: watch, fix the wording, click a verdict. Aims: 5 Develop Skilled Play, 6 Encourage Innovative Ideas.
The benefit for croquet
Thousands of hours of match commentary become vetted, bite-size tactical lessons, feeding the tactics learning material and a future practice quiz.
Results so far
Detection validated 9 July 2026: from one match, 68 candidate moments produced 6 genuine lessons and no fragments; sparse matches correctly produce nothing. The soundness check's first live run caught a real over-generalisation. A sample clip went to the committee 11 July 2026.
Status: on trial (staging); switching on awaits Wade. As at 2026-07-11.
