My Peg (editable documents)

What it is

CAQ sends a member a document (a letter, a form, a brief) to their own Peg page inside MyCroquet. The member edits it in place and the edits flow back with their name on them. No narrating changes over email.

Who it serves

Any member granted the module, switched on one person at a time. First planned real users are committee members handling documents, such as Penny for policy and Megan for tournaments.

How it works

Removes the read-then-dictate-changes loop. The recipient fixes the wording themselves, every save is kept as a version so nothing is ever lost, and the master copy updates automatically with the editor noted.

  1. An email says a document is waiting.
  2. Log in and open My Peg.
  3. Edit directly in the page, with a familiar always-visible menu bar.
  4. Saves are automatic versions; mark it done when finished.

How it hits the ideals and aims

Keep it simple: open the document, fix the words, done. Cooperate for croquet: documents move between CAQ and members without friction. Aims: 1 Strengthen Admin, 4 Support Clubs.

The benefit for croquet

Faster document turnaround between CAQ and its people, behind a proper login rather than emailed attachments. The notification email is just a doorbell; the document stays protected.

Results so far

Went live 10 July 2026 after a full round-trip test the same day: an edit made in the page came back and updated the master copy correctly. Wade's own hands-on round-trip is the last check before real committee documents start flowing.

Status: live, per-person grant; real rollout pending Wade's round-trip. As at 2026-07-11.
