What it is
A document wizard that turns plain words into a smart-looking, on-brand A4 PDF. The tool itself runs at publish.croquetclaude.com; this module puts it inside MyCroquet for people CAQ grants it to.
Who it serves
Any member or volunteer who needs a professional-looking document (a club guide, a briefing, a notice) without design skills. Access is granted one person at a time.
How it works
Removes desktop publishing from volunteer jobs. No wrestling with Word, no design software. The wizard was rebuilt in July 2026 specifically to be easy for older users: big type, plain English, four steps.
- Pick a look from the theme swatches.
- Paste or type your words.
- Wait while it structures and lays out the pages, with live progress.
- Check the preview and download the PDF.
How it hits the ideals and aims
Keep it simple: pick a look, put in your words, get a finished document. Enjoy croquet: volunteers spend their time on the club, not on formatting. Aims: 1 Strengthen Admin, 4 Support Clubs, 2 Promote Croquet Externally.
The benefit for croquet
Club and association documents come out consistent and presentable regardless of who makes them, which lifts the standard of everything clubs hand to members, councils and funders.
